Health tip: exercise ok during pregnancy
But get your doctor's approval first A proper exercise program may help relieve some of the common pitfalls of pregnancy, such as excessive weight gain, swelling of your hands and feet, leg cramps, varicose veins, insomnia, fatigue, and constipation. Pregnant women can participate in low-impact aerobic activity three times per week, or as often as every other day, if their doctor approves. But don't push yourself; if you are feeling exhausted, don't try to exercise. Walking is one of the best aerobic activities, as long as your doctor approves. Just remember to stretch before and after your session.
