This remedy does double duty as both a cleanser and mask, says Stephanie Tourles. Tomato and cucumber are mild astringents.
What you need:
1/4 medium-sized ripe tomato or a
1-inch chunk of peeled
cucumber
Up to 1 Tbs. water
1 tsp. almond meal
1 tsp. sunflower seed meal
1 tsp. ground oatmeal
1/4 tsp. cold-pressed vegetable oil
Clean Skin and pull your hair off your face. Place tomato or cucumber in a blender or food processor with a little bit of water. Blend until smooth, then strain and reserve the liquid. Mix the resulting solids with the remaining ingredients and combine with enough of the strained liquid to form a smooth paste. Spread over face and neck, then lie down and relax for 15 minutes. Rinse.
