How would you like to get a haircut that makes you look good and feel good at the same time? A new charity drive is offering free haircuts in an effort to help sick children.
Millions of children lose their hair each year because of disease, burns or medical treatment. This is a fabulous way to help them and help yourself get a summer haircut at the same time. And it'll be a haircut that would normally cost you a lot of money.
You can do it through a program called "Locks of Love" that takes the hair you donate, and fashions wonderful hairpieces for kids.
There are a few requirements if you want to donate your hair. You need to be able to make a 10-inch ponytail, and that means you need really long hair in the back. Also, no gray hair, because this is for children. And you can have colored hair, but just no highlights.
