That would be wrong, say the people who make Q-tips. You need Q-tips more than ever during this time of year, with all the parties and events. According to makeup artists Mally Roncal, here's why:
_ Use a Q-tip to smudge your eyeliner for a smoky, evening look.
_ Plan ahead for a long night that morning by applying a coat of mascara, dipping a swab in translucent powder and sweeping over the lashes and then covering with a second coat of mascara.
_ Apply your favorite shade of creamy red lipstick but enhance it by dabbing gold shimmer powder in the center of your bottom lip - with a Q-tip.
_ Out later than expected the night before? Apply a light eye shadow or white powder on the inner corners of the eye with a Q-tip to create a wide-eyed look with minimal effort.
